COULD YOU BE A WATERWAYS CHAPLAIN?
New Hub Starting in South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Southwell & Nottinghamshire regions
A new northern hub is starting – Yorkshire and North East!
The Waterways Chaplaincy is a national Christian ministry aiming to supplement the work of local churches by supporting those involved in any way with life on our canals and rivers. This is an ecumenical work, with volunteer chaplains being both ordained and lay. No experience of boating is needed (you don’t even have to have a boat) as training will be given.
We are currently expanding our network into South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Southwell & Nottinghamshire region with a Yorkshire and North East hub. We will be holding an ‘Information Evening’ :
7th June at St Botolph’s, Church Hall, Church Lane, Saxilby, LN5 7PM
Starts at 7.00pm.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer waterways chaplain, or would like someone to talk to a church group about our work? if so, please contact:
