The Waterways Chaplaincy was at this years’ Inland Waterways Association (IWA) Festival of Water at Waltham Abbey on the 24-26th August. It was the biggest IWA event of the year. Senior Waterways Chaplain Lorraine Newman was there with her boat ‘Annie & Walt’ and a small BCF team who ran a stall together. They also hosted 2 services on the Sunday: Holy Communion at 8.30 and songs of praise at 3pm. The weather was wonderful and new contacts and conversations were made.
